Dr. Mark A. Iati

His style has been called relaxed and comforting, his skills have been described as artistic and detailed, and these are just a few of the designations given to the areas’ finest cosmetic and restorative dentist. His election to the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry clearly defines his role as a leader in the field of cosmetic dentistry.

In recognition of his goal of life long learning, Dr. Iati was recently bestowed a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. This designation FAGD is an honor which belongs to less than 1% of all dentists. He has been featured in several magazine and national newspaper articles and has attended the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Aesthetics where he trained with world renowned cosmetic dentist and lecturer, Dr. William Dickerson.

Dr. Iati attended The Ohio State University and received his D.D.S. from Case Western Reserve University in 1987. He completed a general practice residency at Western Reserve Care Systems before coming to Stow Dental Group in Stow, Ohio where he is involved in the community in numerous charitable activities and the Chamber of Commerce. He has traveled abroad to donate his time and talents to those less fortunate in third world countries and will endeavor to do so in the future.

His affiliations include, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association and the Akron Dental Society. He has served in dental organizations at the local and state levels while attending approximately 250 hrs. of continuing education each year. His practice is focused primarily on cosmetic, reconstructive and TMD therapy, yet he is experienced in all facets of general dentistry.

When Dr. Iati is not practicing dentistry, he is racing sports cars for the Sports Car Club of America where, in 2002, he took fifth in the nation. He also enjoys water sports, snow boarding and has a profound love for animals (especially dogs).
